The dial of this clock is made of 12 spiral sections that twist into one another. Each section is covers an 210 degree arc, and all start with a rounded number field - that are painted to red.The grain direction of the wood on each section is rotated, and this gives a special shading effect on the surface: some sections look lighter while others darker - however all bear the same color.

Manufacturing process: the dial is laser cut from the plywood board, the finishing (polishing) is made by hand. The surface is oiled, the number disks are painted to red.

The movement: is non-ticking, runs with 1 AA size battery (not included in the package owing to fire protection reasons). Basic hands are black plastic. Optional custom hands are available for extra 3USD (photos show an example of these unique hands)
