Natural sew-on strap leather handlebar wraps for your drop bar. These leather straps wrap around your handlebars, not coiled like the faux-cork tape, but lengthwise like the good old days.Natural leather gains a beautiful patina over time from the oils in your hands, like your dad's old briefcase. And they work just fine in the rain - we know, we're in Portland, Oregon!Comes complete with a sewing kit and instruction. You sew these leather wraps on yourself which gives it added personality and character. Get creative with the lacing, make it your own! Bar wraps are pre-punched for stitching, with one row per side. The leather pictured here was dyed with an antique brown color dye, but we can also dye it in a "honey"/cognac color, or black, or leave it the natural vegetable tan color. Ships with two pre-punched (by hand) leather strips 3" wide 24" long, and stitch kit with waxed thread and appropriate needle. To see images of customer bikes with Walnut Studiolo leather handlebar wraps visit our Flickr collection: ITEM IS MADE TO ORDER with love in my workshop in Portland, Oregon.SELECT TESTIMONIALS:The wraps are worth the sewing! They look great thank you.-JAYThey're beautiful, suuuper soft and make my red vintage racing bike look so sexy :) So I went and bought 2 more for my other bikes :)-YASMINA H.Very well made, great looking, and easy to install using the well written instructions. I put these on an early '70s road bike that still has old fashioned components, and they fit right in and class things up a bit. Thanks, Geoff!-MICAH R.Love the Leather handlebar wraps. Easy to install on my Nitto Rando bars with about 6 inches left over on each one.-GEANA T.
