The dial of this clock resembles to a traditional Chinese (buddhist) symbol: the eternity knot. It is actually an endless ribbon (the end of which is linked to its beginning) that winds through the surface of the clock dial while forming 4 bigger and 8 smaller loops - right at the place of the numbers.
Material: 6mm birch plywood was used
Manufacturing process: the dial is laser cut from the plywood board, the finishing (polishing) is made by hand. The surface is finally painted to red.
The movement: is non-ticking, runs with 1 AA size battery (not included in the package). Regular hands are black plastic, optional custom plastic hands are available for extra 3USD (see last photo).
