Charles and Ray Eames worked in architecture, film, mathematics, astronomy, as well as furniture design. They began their association with Herman Miller in 1946, the same year in which the Museum of Modern Art gave an unprecedented showing of their design work. The following year, Dot Pattern was included in the Museum's Competition for Printed Fabrics.This 16” x 16” throw pillow is the same fabric front and back, and has an envelope closure that allows you to remove the 100% cotton cover for cleaning. The background is charcoal with black figures.The pillow insert is 12 ounces of “faux down” for those who may be sensitive to down yet desire the luxury and comfort, wrapped in a 230 thread count 100% cotton cloth ticking, double stitched edged for durability. Wash in a gentle cycle with a small amount of detergent and dry on gentle cycle (add a couple of tennis balls for fluff). The pillow insert in made in the U.S.
