This chalk pad will quickly replace your reminders scribbled on scraps of paper that always end up lost. Reminiscent of an old schoolhouse chalk board it is great for grocery lists, sketches, messages and plans. Wee children can spill out their imaginations on this black board. It is a blank slate that is waiting to be filled.
Made from reclaimed wood - oak from a 19th century Philadelphia church, reclaimed black leather (WWII Spats, WWII Gun Holster, Early 1900s purse etc) and chalkboard paint. The board is sanded smooth though may show signs of the wood's prior use such as nail burn holes, nails, bug holes etc. The back and sides are finished with natural tung oil and the sides are beveled. There is a hole in the top for hanging.
Each pad comes with one Koh-I-Noor chalk pencil. Pad measures 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 5/8 in / 24.13 x 19.05 x 1.5875 cm.
Currently only available in Walnut (the darkest color pictured).
Please note, due to the nature of the materials used, each pad will vary slightly. May take up to two weeks to ship depending upon inventory. Please mention in the notes if you require your tablet sooner and we will do our best to accommodate!
