I had my original cicada wing illustration laser cut into wood by a small local company, to make this large and light weight wing. A beautiful dark burnt edge is left on the crevasses of the detailed pattern. The wood gives off a faint campfire scent (that I love), which will fade with time. The wing has been hung on a long 28" gunmetal chain by an oxidized ring, with clasp in back. Wing measures 4 inches long.
