This totally unique serving piece is from my Whirls collection. Made on the wheel, thrown then altered using porcelain, Whirls are one of my signature designs. This one was designed with olives in mind – one vessel to keep olives and pits separate. The rim is hand glazed in bright green which beautifully accents the design, while the entire piece is covered in a clear, food safe glaze.
Also great for shelled nuts, and since the “cupped” part of this Whirl is completely sealed, it will also work well with non-solid foods. Use it, then display it for a conversation piece. Measures approximately 7.5"W x 1.75"H with the cupped portion measuring approximately 6"W.
- Please note- all of my pieces are made individually without any molds or templates, so each piece will vary slightly from one another. Also, due to monitor differences, colors may vary slightly. Also, the photo of the olive dish with the food has a red rim and is included to show usage.
