This necklace is a perfect combinaison of so many of my favorite things.
First, i made the ebony diamond by and polished it for an additional shine and protection.
The cube was an object i first carved in wood in a much bigger size. I love it so much i wanted to see it in a wearable metal version. I carved it again out of wax then cast it in sterling silver. It’s fun to touch and look at. As a closure i made a hook and added 2 jump rings and a pearl on the other end of the chain. Each link is solvered so you can be sure this piece is strong and will last.
The length of the necklace is about 26" when you close it at the first jump ring and nearly 28" when closed at the 2nd jump ring. The tip of the ebony diamond falls 4" lower.
The pictured necklace is mine, i will make another one for you with the exact same design but you get to choose your favorite wooden gem and pearl. Everybody loves to choose right? Just hav a look to the last pic for options :)
