St. Finian's Bay LIMPET necklace
Ball and Chain jewelry
About
A souvenir from Ireland one summer… now a modern fossil of that memory
St. Finian’s Bay LIMPET necklace
A common limpet covered in barnacles found in the sand at St. Finian’s Bay, taken home to Brooklyn then cast into solid bronze.
Oxidized by me to bring out the texture.
This guy is heavy- 2 whole ounces of bronzed barnacles to decorate your neck with.
Limpet is 1.25 inches tall by 1.5 inch wide
26 inch long matching chain
Check out the last photo of St. Finnian’s Bay in county Kerry Ireland, you can see Skellig Michael in the distance off shore, the inspiration for this piece.
