Did you know that spiders are one of the most creative insects on the planet? Well, that’s only one of the reasons I love them. They have also been worshiped by many cultures and are highly symbolic, fascinating little creatures. I personally think it is bad luck to kill spiders- therefore, it is good luck to admire them for all they do!
This is an original drawing of mine, made when I was about 16, but I’ve rehashed it and cleaned it up so it has a snazzy geometric feel.
This Spider design is printed with a process called discharge, whereby the original shirt color is removed and then replaced with another color, leaving the print area as soft as the shirt itself! An incredible water based process!
