This ring is made from found objects I’ve collected in my travels around Toronto’s streets and antique markets and junk shops. The base is a silver washer, with another rusty one on top. The band of the ring is made from a piece of rusted metal and measures about a half inch wide.
The embellishment is a vintage acrylic button from an old favourite dress of mine, and the little dome is cut at angles, a pretty detail.
The whole piece is coated with resin, which protects the rust and your hand when you wear it, and gives the piece a high gloss.
The face of the ring, the washer, is about an inch in diameter, and the band is a size 7. It can be adjusted a bit in size, so let me know if you need. No charge for re-sizing.
