About
Fresh from the studio, a new handmade translucent porcelain and plywood mobile in calming neutrals and organic shapes.
This mobile makes a meditative tinkling sound from the lightness of the porcelain.
All handmade- porcelain is formed and in-graved with oxides to give a subtle pattern, sanded, then fired to translucency. Plywood is hand-cut and sanded. OOAK
Designed in a classic Calder inspired hanging.
Size: 540mm long x 450mm wide, or 21 inches x 18 inches, suspended from an adjustable length of nylon line. Size of shapes varies – approx – 21/2 inches or 65mm diameter. 3 ceramic and 3 plywood shapes.
Colours: natural finish – Southern Ice porcelain, Australian hoop pine plywood. Polished stainless steel supports.
Ready for travelling- Comes very carefully packaged in a padded cardboard box. The porcelain is very strong and light.
