This scene was photographed with a few different cameras on two different occasions at the family beach house in New England. I dragged out some furniture onto the beach and set up this scene which I’d had in mind for a photo shoot. Although it was August, it was freezing and my teeth were chattering. When the fog decided to roll in, the temperatures dropped even more, and though I suffered, it made for one surreal scene – - particularly when combined with and aided by the old Polaroid camera and expired film!
