A stunning mono-print by Joe McHugh, 1969. Back in the late 1960s, when ETW was going full steam, just for art’s sake Joe McHugh would take an extant poster and run it back throught the press a few times, collaging different plates on top of it went. The result was a one-of-a-kind artwork. In this case there are four or maybe five layers here, including “Pipe Dreams” and “Andhera”. This is printed on thicker-than-average stock, and the back side is also printed with an unidentified image.
