One of a kind Cyanotype digital print by Matt Shapoff, of a skull on hand torn bright white Rives BFK 300 gsm paper by Matt Shapoff. 3" square (7.6cm).
Combining a 19th century iron based photographic process with modern design, Matt Shapoff creates his solar generated blueprints on acid-free fine art paper, at his indoor/outdoor studio on Peconic Bay. Each print is a unique exposure from an original digital image. Cyanotype prints are created by exposing photosensitized paper in the sun.
Framed in a 6" square upcycled 1 1/2" wide mahogany frame with 8 3/8" square outer dimensions. Sawtooth picture hanger and product information card about cyanotype photographic prints on back.
Minor defects are part of the natural charm of our reclaimed wood frames.
