My original painting of a retro cityscape is a wild tangle of skyscrapers in bold black lines accented by little punches of sky blue over a shimmery violet and silver background.
The linework is loose and rhythmic, without any pre-planning or pencil sketching.
“My Midcentury Metropolis” is ready to display — it can stand upright on a shelf or hang flush against the wall. The edges are finished so it needs no framing and it’s been sealed with a thin layer of Lascaux satin UV-protective varnish.
