Yes, you’re right… it’s a swinging monkey riding an owl. The monkey and the owl were made in Melbourne and Perth, Australia, by Bubs (Abdul) and Luyi (Louis) who work on this little project from opposite sides of our island-continent.
Each piece was designed by us, cut by laser from beech wood, hand painted and varnished by hand too (and we also put together the 80cm chains ourselves).
