A new collection to the “pod” series, these organically shaped podlets come in 3 sizes and are modeled after the urchin.
Made to stand alone or in a group, create a meandering line on your coffee table, cluster them on your desk, stack them for form or simply use them as pin cushions.
Each podlet can sit on either one of its ends, with one side featuring a contrasting colorful dot.
They are first hand crocheted using a wool/mohair blend, then machine wet felted, dried for several days and finally trimmed, steamed and stuffed with eco-wool for plumpness.
The process of wet felting involves agitating the oversized crocheted piece in hot water and soap, causing the wool fibers to interlock, shrinking down to form a firm fabric.
