One of a kind cyanotype contact print of lavender stems formed into a heart with rosemary branches, on hand torn bright white Rives BFK 300 gsm paper by Matt Shapoff. 10" × 8" (25.4 × 20.3cm).
Combining a 19th century iron based photographic process with modern design, Matt Shapoff creates his solar generated blueprints on acid-free fine art paper, at his indoor/outdoor studio on Peconic Bay. This print is a unique exposure from from dried botanical specimens. Cyanotype prints are created by exposing photosensitized paper in the sun.
Signed by the artist and blind embossed with logo on an 1895 Pearl letterpress. Ready for mounting in the frame of your choice. Shipped in a protective cello envelope with a product information card about cyanotype photographic prints.
