About

Inspired by the elections of 2008, I wanted to create a poster that would motivate people to vote. During my sketch process I could not get past the effectiveness of Herb Lubalin’s VOTE poster, created in the 1968, which says:
VOTE AND THE CHOICE IS YOURS
DON’T VOTE AND THE CHOICE IS THEIRS
REGISTER OR YOU HAVE NO CHOICE

I reprinted the poster and gave them to over 100 stores in Brooklyn and Manhattan to encourage everyone to register to vote!

I also printed a few (15) on cover stock and they are only available here on Supermarket!

Profits made after we cover the cost of producing the prints will be donated to The Herb Lubalin Center for Design & Typography at The Cooper Union School of Art, New York City.
