About
The Gramophone desk lamp emits an adjustable task light and an amber glow of translucent porcelain around it. It has a touch dimmer knob on its base that activates it for three levels of light, on and off.
The shade is made of matte white glazed translucent porcelain and the base is made of matte white glazed clay. Both by ceramic artist Sharan Elran.
All of the electrical parts are UL listed.
Uses a 35W xenon bulb that is twice more efficient in its energy use than a regular incandescent (equivalent to 60-75W incandescent), has a longer life span of 5,000 hours and a warm color light quality.
It’s an excellent reading light / work light or bedside light. The porcelain is fragile so I wouldn’t advise to put it near hectic children or tail waving dogs.
