Fire Island 1910 Cyanotype No. 180
Handmade On Peconic Bay
About
One of a kind cyanotype print of the Fire Island Lighthouse, from a digital image by 3D artist RJ Kikuchiyo, on hand torn bright white Rives BFK 300 gsm paper by Matt Shapoff. 8" square (20.3cm).
Combining a 19th century iron based photographic process with modern design, Matt Shapoff creates his solar generated blueprints on acid-free fine art paper, at his indoor/outdoor studio on Peconic Bay. Each print is a unique exposure from an original digital image. Cyanotype prints are created by exposing photosensitized paper in the sun.
Signed by both artists and blind embossed with logo on an 1895 Pearl letterpress. Ready for mounting in the frame of your choice. Comes with a product information card about cyanotype prints.
