Just the most adorable and squishable objet d’art (with a purpose!)
This pinpod is first hand crocheted with a wool/mohair blend, then machine wet felted, dried for several days and finally trimmed and steamed to keep it’s shape. It is then stuffed with eco-wool for plumpness.
Before it is wet felted the pinpod is much larger in shape, but with the combination of agitation, hot water and soap the wool fibers interlock and form a firm fabric.
These are great for not only crafters to hold pins, measuring tape and thimbles, but for displaying on your nightstand or hallway console for jewelery, keys and what-nots.
Even better, turn the pinpod around to show it’s brightly colored dot. Poke pins on this side too or just keep as an objet d’art.
