About
Charles and Ray Eames worked in architecture, mathematics and astronomy, as well as furniture design. “Circles” was discovered in their sketchbooks, but was never realized as a textile design during their lifetime. It is available today thanks to a collaboration between the Eames Office and the textile company Maharam. Together, working from original sketches, they arrived at the correct scale, repeat and color for the fabric. This fabric is curated in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It is shown here in 100% cotton with a charcoal background and figures in black and gray.
The 16” x 16” throw pillow is the same fabric front and back.
It has an envelope closure that allows you to remove the cover for cleaning. Both the cover and pillow are washable separately.
The pillow insert is 12 ounces of “faux down” for those who may be sensitive to down yet desire the luxury and comfort, wrapped in a 100% cotton ticking. It is made in the U.S.
Two pillows are available in this fabric.
