One of a kind cyanotype print of a 19th century sailing ship, from a digital image by 3D artist RJ Kikuchiyo, on hand torn bright white Rives BFK 300 gsm paper by Matt Shapoff. 7.75" × 9.5" (9.7 × 24.1cm).
Combining a 19th century iron based photographic process with modern design, Matt Shapoff creates his solar generated blueprints on acid-free fine art paper, at his indoor/outdoor studio on Peconic Bay. This print is a unique exposure from a digital negative. Cyanotype prints are created by exposing photosensitized paper in the sun.
Signed by the artist and blind embossed with the Aries symbol on a 1895 Pearl letterpress. Ready for mounting in the frame of your choice. Shipped in a protective cello envelope with a product information card about cyanotype photographic prints.
