Anne Kiel got the crazy notion to learn about metalsmithing after traveling in Europe and West Africa and seeing some of the world’s most amazing personal adornments.
Kiel enjoys incorporating mixed-media into her design which is evident in her current “Curios” collection of vintage illustrations and photographs set in sterling silver.
In addition, she experiments with modern form and bold use of color to create eclectic, hand-fabricated works of wearable art. All of her pieces are made in her Austin, Texas studio.
