Mel Bandeira is a Brazilian London-based designer who makes an original line of jewellery inspired by nature, architecture, fashion and different cultures.
She currently has three collections, Circles, Paisley and Tribal. Each of her pieces is lovingly handmade in her studio in London using brass, precious metals and semi-precious gemstones. Necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets are often etched creating tactile and stylish pieces.
She specialises in a technique known as ‘acid etching’
this technique enables her to create patterns and textures into metal’s surface creating desirable and wearable jewellery.
