Tamra Gentry Design Studio’s Terms of Sale

SHIPPING
Most items are available to ship within 48 hours. Those that are not will be indicated as such.

For items under $100, I ship via Priority Mail through the US Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation. I will NOT ship without Delivery Confirmation. The cost of shipping is a flat rate of $6.95 plus $.50 per additional item. Items over $100 will ship via FedEx or UPS, and there is a slight increase in cost.

Expedited shipping is available upon request, at an additional cost. Please contact me before placing your order to arrange this.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
I do hope you are happy with your jewelry, but if not, I will accept returns of unworn and undamaged items within 7 days after delivery.

The item must be returned in its original packaging and sent via insured, traceable mail. Items not returned in original packaging will be subject to package restocking fees.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Custom and/or commissioned designs are non-refundable; however, I will work with you to make sure you are happy.

SALES TAXES
As is required, Illinois residents will be charged sales tax on purchases from Tamra Gentry Design Studio.

QUALITY GUARANTEE
Good craftsmanship is very important to me. I stand by all of my work and by the quality thereof. I stress-test much of my jewelry to the extent that it is possible, and each piece receives a thorough visual inspection for fabrication flaws and/or defects. Examples of stress-testing include pulling or bending necklace or bracelet clasps to make sure that they do not give under normal pressure, and bending/twisting earring post connections, etc., to ensure that they do not come off (this also work-hardens the posts ensuring sturdiness).

I do not sell jewelry that does not meet my high standards and rigorous inspection processes.

Should there be an issue, I will gladly repair any defects that occur due to natural causes within a one year period, at no cost to you with the exception of shipping fees. Please contact me to arrange this.

REPAIRS AND ADJUSTMENTS
There is a fee to repair jewelry damaged by the customer. I would be happy to handle such an issue, and I would prefer to handle my own work as I know it best. Please contact me for an initial assessment, and to make arrangements for the repair. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

There is a fee for any adjustment beyond the initial sale. Adjustments include ring-sizing where possible, lengthening or shortening of necklaces, bracelets, etc., transforming necklaces to brooches or vise versa, etc. Please contact me for an initial assessment, and to make arrangements to return the item for adjustments. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
