I make shiny things.I quit my day job to pursue my daydream of making jewelry. My shop, tru.che, mostly sells silver pieces, and is guided by the principle that you should wear what you love.As a native to a small town in Michigan, where at the age of 13 my first job was de-tasseling corn, I love where I'm from and being connected to nature.Things that make me float and often provide inspiration for my creative outlets, jewelry making included, are:a good vintage find, a beautiful photograph, the mountains, thunderstorms, anything haunted, a great live show, decorating my space, tending to a garden, and collaboration with other creative souls.I also love Michigan, where I currently live with my cat, pup, and my mate.

"Caring for your jewelry:"All fine silver is made from recycled quality .999 silver and may tarnish over time depending on air, perfumes, skin acidity, and many other environmental factors. Fine silver may be polished to restore its shine. Oxidized sterling silver is done by hand and may result in subtle differences of tone and color - it is not a black coating on the silver. The blackened color may fade and change over time creating an aged look.To sustain the look of your new jewelry it is best to avoid wearing pieces while sleeping, showering, swimming, etc. Store the piece in the plastic bag it was shipped in while not wearing.
