WHAT DO I DO?Brass leaves green or grey tarnish on some peoples' skin. If you know in advance that your skin reacts adversely to brass, then a plated, sterling silver, or solid gold item may be a better choice for you. Avoid wearing your brass jewelry in the shower, while sleeping or exercising, and remove rings before washing your hands. We’ve been told that a layer of clear nail polish or clear spray paint can provide a barrier between the brass and your skin, halting the tarnishing process. This works on earring posts too, to discourage mild metal allergies. MY JEWELRY BROKE! CAN YOU FIX IT?I take great pride and care in making well-made jewelry and accessories but accidents do happen. If you're necklace breaks or some hardware needs to be replaced, please contact me via the contact form explaining the situation and we will work out a plan so I can fix it. DO YOU OFFER ENGRAVING?At the moment we do not. We recommend finding a local engraver. MY RING DOES NOT FIT!Please be sure to send me your correct ring size. IT'S BEEN FOUR WEEKS AND THERE'S NO SIGN OF MY JEWELRY!Despite the unbelievable volume of mailpieces that it processes every day, the United States Postal Service is amazingly reliable, speedy and cost-effective. Occasionally, however, a package can get stuck or mistakenly re-routed, resulting in delays that can make it seem like it's gone missing. However, in the past two years of using USPS for all of our shipping needs, we find that this is very rarely the case. Therefore, we like to wait at least 14 days for domestic and 45 days for international orders before declaring a package permanently lost. EM is not responsible for stolen packages, once an item is marked as delivered we will file a claim with USPS. CAN I TRACK MY PACKAGE?Yes. An email will arrive when your order ships with your package’s tracking information. (But make sure to check your SPAM account, sometimes they end up there.) Please note that orders shipped using USPS First Class International Mail are provided with a Customs number. This number can be used to track your package through USPS within the United States only. CAN A DESIGN BE MADE IN A DIFFERENT METAL?Yes, most of the designs can be custom made in a different metal. Simply, fill out the contact form with your information. -GENERAL CARE-It is recommended to keep jewelry away from salt water, chlorine, sauna or any other chemicals such as hairspray, perfume, oils, lotions, etc. GOLD & GOLD FILL CAREProper care of your gold jewelry will ensure a long lasting glow. Gold is tarnish resistant but can get dirty or smudged. Clean with a soft polishing cloth only. STERLING SILVER CARERecycled and sustainable .925 sterling silver will natural oxidize and tarnish over time. Use a soft polishing cloth to clean. BRONZE CAREBronze is a metal that consists of a mixture of copper, tin and zinc giving it that gold tone look. Bronze will oxidize and tarnish over time. Avoid water, lotions, oils. Clean with a soft polishing cloth to bring back the gold shine. *Please be aware that certain people can be sensitive to bronze which can lead to skin reactions such as green skin, black skin or itching. BRASS CAREAll brass jewelry is protected with a micro- crystalline wax polish to slow down the tarnishing effect. Brass will naturally tarnish and patina over time. Avoid water, oils, lotions. Use a soft polishing cloth to bring back the gold luster of the brass metal. *Please be aware that certain people can be sensitive to bronze which can lead to skin reactions such as green skin, black skin or itching.
