Hi my name is Jacklyn and I am the owner and designer for Dunole. I have always had a passion for designing and I strive for beauty in function & character in each handcrafted piece. My most cherished treasure I own is my great grandmother's sewing basket; something that has been passed down in my family along with the skills of sewing. I guess you could say it runs in my blood.Dean Gaoithe Unole, represents my grandparents love, struggle, & amazing stories that inspired my name and keep me grounded to what is important for the company. With this inspiration from my roots to build Dunole, I set out to create pieces that preserve the quality in artisan craftsmanship.I use Horween leather with my designs so you know that not only is the artistry unique to each piece but the quality of leather is the very best in the industry. Along with the famous Chicago leather company, all my hardware is sourced here in the United States as well; making Dunole pieces 'Made in the US' a statement I am proud of.With Dunole you'll find that each piece is designed, sketched, patterned, & crafted by hand by me, which takes a lot of time & patience. Each hole is punched by hand and stitched with care using two needles and an awl. Which create these beautiful pieces that will not only last but will grow more gorgeous & soft with you over time.Giving back is important to Dunole. Five percent of each purchase is donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through the Dunole fund. The fund was established to honor a near and dear relative and friend who has had a life long struggle with chronic MS. I am so greatly appreciative of those who also find the beauty in handmade quality pieces.Thank you for visiting my store & please come back anytime!
