About Blue Day Designs

My name's Emma Corcoran. I'm an Australian artist who makes children's portraits and custom stenciled artworks. A few years ago a friend looked at some of my charcoal sketches and said, 'You might like stenciling.' Since then, I've spent many a happy hour hanging out in my dad's shed breathing in paint fumes as I spray big stencil portraits. My mini portraits are made using a transfer technique, and are small enough to carry around in your handbag. (I've got one in mine now!)My work has been featured on several blogs including:Cool Mom PicksApartment TherapyiVillage.comAnother Cup of VintageThe Curious PugHere's my blog on stenciling:"bluedaydesigns.blogspot.com".And...here's my facebook fan page:"www.facebook.com/BlueDayDesigns".

I will never e-mail, upload, or in any others ways disseminate photos without parental permission.(I do use some children’s photos in my sample listings and in my blog, to show the original photo a stencil was made from – but this is done with parental permission, and children are never identified by name.)The portrait that is produced from a photo is held under my copyright (because it is an artistic product), but the original photo, of course, does not belong to me.At your request, I am happy to delete all photos used to make a portrait from my computer after completion of your commission.
