Link-love: Ava Living

Ava Living recently posted a lovely interview with the founders of Organelle Design. Based in Vancouver but on their way to New York, Organelle focuses on eco-conscious design, and are avid collectors of discarded materials that can be reclaimed in their work.

We also loved reading about the BYO_ events they organize in their community, which they describe as:
“Two days! A garage! Skilled craftspeople! Power tools! And JUNK! The idea is that we provide a space where skilled designers, architects, boat builders, carpenters, and welders can mingle with your average Joe to create things from waste materials that we’ve collected.”
